Can I use my single Time Capsule to back up both computers? It has the ending .inprogress I need to restore that file by all means. Are these problems related? It happily whirred away and looked like everything was fine, then at the very end up popped the failure notification again. From there you should be able to do the:sudo rm .inProgresscommand to remove the file. Navigate to Applications - Utilities and double-click Terminal. I deleted the "in progress" file and ran backup now. Just wanted to stop back in and let you folks know that it worked.
