What I'm finding is that root can no longer run QT4 applications. How would you run something like gparted which is graphical as an unprivileged user? No one else has root access (work machine, but I'm the primary user and administrator), so I do not think it was someone else changing something. This looks like some issue with the X server, but I have not touched it at all. Something must have changed that made that necessary somewhere along the way.Again, search the wiki. What do they mean?

There's plenty of ways to run graphical apps as root beyond sudo.Actually this app does have a menu entry that uses one of those ways. I'm assuming there's a config file I need to fix but, I have no idea where it might be.
