When I log off the disconnected session I receive a blue screen and the server reboots. STOPPRESS: I just got the "session not found" error again tonight, so either something is running thats breaking the thing, or the new user fix didn't really fix it completely. [Yes http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1324264 Click OK to confirm. The listener will be reset, and all existing sessions will close. I hope you find this post helpful,Jonathan AlmquistMinneapolis, MN RE: RDP: Error connecting to existing session klunde (IS/IT--Management) (OP) 19 Jan 07 07:27 {userid} is my way of writing that here However the fact it was fixed was good enough for me. However I didn't see this issue actually being restricted to just a single account on the machine, since I also had the exact same problem when using the built-in administrators account. I have tried to log of the local console, I've tried to use TS management and reset the sessions - nothing helps. And I can connect using RDP, just not to the I'll post an update at > the end of March to let you know which way I had to go. > > Thanks to all for the help and suggestions. > I don't know if that wizard could have messed something up. >> >> > >> >> > Ian >> >> > >> >> > >> >> >> Jeffrey Randow (Windows Net. How to proceed?

The problem can also be caused by existing remote sessions that are failing to close properly. Does the event log point you to anything? 0 Message Author Comment by:djmagicb2006-12-21 No events ...
